I Took the Etsy Plunge Today!

Today I finally created my storefront on Etsy.com. I am so excited! I love how the site really caters to individuals who love handmade things. I am hoping to turn my weekend vintage button hobby into an opportunity to make a little play money.

The site is nearly free (20 cents per listing), is really easy to work with, and I can log in just a few times (weekends, mostly) to check on my progress.

Last night I played around with a store name and designed a banner. Here it is:

Tonight I listed 7 button rings and one button bracelet. If you look back through my previous posts, you can learn more about how I make this button jewelry.

You can check out the Etsy storefront at Sugar Plum Designs.Whoo hoo! We'll see how well I do. Thanks Mom for all of your help pricing these exquisite buttons!

Well, Chris does all of the child care, grocery shopping, cooking, laundry, housekeeping, bed-making, toy-picking-upping and dog feeding, so all I have to do is my Institute job and play!

I just received a kit in the mail today. It is called "blah blah creative woman". Its a total rip-off crap of the month club, but the package I received was a bracelet making kit with beads of blue, yellow and turquoise. Made me think of your bracelet.
