Found a play kitchen on Craigslist, LIKE NEW condition, all accessories included. Retails for $100, seller was asking $50, I got it for $40. You can't beat that with a stick!
The funniest thing is that when you set the pots and pans on the toy burner it lights up and sizzles and boils. It cracks me up every time I hear it!
So far I have been the recipient of cookies, pies, and lots and lots of soups!
And the bonus? Shhhh . . . can you hear it? The melodious sounds of a brother and sister playing together. Oh, wait a minute, I just woke up from the dream I am having to some screaming-- "NO ELLA! I'M COOKING NOW!"
Have I mentioned that I love Craigslist?

What a wonderful find for the kids!!
I loved MY play kitchen. My girls loved theirs as well...we just got rid of it about 2 years ago, when they were 14 and 11!!!!
Playing restaraunt is the best.
Yeah! We'll come over and play:).
You got a totally terrific deal!! I forget to check Craigslist regularly and then I'm so envious of the great things my friends find. LOL!
Suz--glad to know that the kitchen's appeal lasted for so long! I hope to be the recipient of many potato chip soups to come (James' latest concoction!)
Flannery--your girls will love it! I am excited to see Ella and Virginia playing with it--in about 15 months!
Teresa--I know, I check CL all of the time and find things that I HAVE to have, that I never knew I even wanted!
What a great bargain!! And an even better bonus that they BOTH love it!
I feel like crying as I read this post because my MissM walked for the very first time when she saw a Play Kitchen on Christmas Day. She decided that she was determined to have fun with her brother and so she got up and walked to it. Seeing those pictures of James and Ella reminded me so much of those happy days.
